"Mandel System Patrol" is a patrol mission in the game Star Trek Online, acquired by entering the Mandel system.

Description[]

Mission text: Orion Syndicate activity in this region has increased dramatically, <rank>. They're a menace, and we need to put a stop to their raids!

The debris fields around this planet contain many varieties of sensor dampening materials, which explains why the Orions like to hide within it. It has become one of the most dangerous areas in the sector.

Most civilian ship captains have learned to give the area a wide berth, but we still send the occasional scout ship into the rings.

Last week the U.S.S. Hera was on a survey mission. She was no match for the Orions, and we lost more than 50 Starfleet officers.

I won't tolerate more Orion attacks in this system. Arm your phasers, <rank>. Your orders are to remove all pirates from this system. Good luck.
