Mandreggan moonblossoms were a type of plant, that had large fragile-looking petals that were pale yellow in the center, which faded to white, and then deepened into a lush shade of scarlet.

In 2265, Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu was attempting to cultivate some moonblossoms in the botany lab of the USS Enterprise. Sulu took pride in the flowers he had cultivated, and was impressed that Lieutenant Commander Spock had commented on them. (TOS - My Brother's Keeper novel: Constitution)
