"mangHom qaD" was the 18th issue of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy in its incarnation as a series from Marvel. This Marvel Comics publication was released in May 1998. Published in both the English and Klingon languages, this issue includes a Klingon glossary by Doctor Lawrence Schoen of the Klingon Language Institute.

Summary[]

B'essa'al challenges for leadership of First Cadre. To win honor for their people, the cadets of First Cadre resolve to find the Sword of Kahless, believed lost in the Gamma Quadrant (DS9 episode: "The Sword of Kahless"). Following a false trail, they are captured by a vengeful Omega Squad, for the death of Kamilah Goldstein. Pava must face Kovold one last time.
