See Scott for other articles with titles that contain, either by relationship or by coincidence, this character's surname.
For the primary universe counterpart, see Montgomery Scott (Kelvin timeline).

Marjorie "Scotty" Scott was a 23rd century Human woman who served as the chief engineer of the USS Enterprise under the command of Captain Jane Tiberia Kirk in a parallel universe affected by the Kelvin timeline.

Biography[]

In 2261, Scott fashioned prototype image inducers that projected holograms around landing party members to make them appear to be native lifeforms. She warned Kirk that they were just prototypes when Kirk complained about their short battery life on Kassen V, but was pleased when Kirk said they worked perfectly.

Later, as the Enterprise approached a quantum storm in the Campor system, Scott thought Keensera was altering various items in engineering, but then noticed the warp core was acting strangely. Scott attended a briefing with senior staff, learning that temporal entanglement due to the storm's proximity was at fault. When the ship was being pulled into the storm, Scott advised not going to warp speed and not resisting the storm's pull. (TOS - Parallel Lives comic: "Part 1")

Scott accompanied Kirk, Spock, Lea McCoy, and Nnamdi Uhuro to visit a parallel USS Enterprise where their counterparts had opposite genders. Marjorie worked with Montgomery Scott to assess the effects of quantum entanglement on both ships' warp engines to help determine a route back home. Montgomery thought Marjorie's engineering section was "a mess" compared to his own.

When both ships were drawn back into the anomaly, Marjorie transmitted their data to the other Enterprise, then was surprised by the sudden appearance of Geordi La Forge in engineering. (TOS - Parallel Lives comic: "Part 2")
