Mark Lenard.

Mark Lenard (1924-1996) was an American film and television actor, best known for playing Sarek in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "Journey to Babel", in the films Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes "Sarek" and Unification". Lenard also voiced the character in the Star Trek animated series episode "Yesteryear".

Lenard also played Keras (the first Romulan) in "Balance of Terror" and Krase (the first Klingon seen with ridges) in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

In 1994, Lenard narrated the audiobooks of the novels Federation and Sarek. A year before his death, Lenard wrote the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Malibu comic "Blood and Honor", which featured Keras' son Jannek taking revenge on Jamie Samantha Kirk, a descendant of James T. Kirk. Lenard also narrated the Star Trek Omnipedia.
