Marta Usubekov was a 23rd century Human woman. She served in Starfleet aboard the USS Reliant in the 2280s decade under Captain Clark Terrell.
Biography[]
Usubekov was from the Transcaucasian Republic on Earth and was raised with Russian family values and faith.
In 2285, she served as assistant communications officer on Reliant. That year, she and First Officer Pavel Chekov had a romance serious enough that they began to discuss marriage. Chekov mentioned their relationship in a letter to his uncle Anton Ryhov just prior to the vessel's assignment to survey Ceti Alpha VI. (TOS reference: Star Trek II Biographies)
