The Marx Brothers were an early 20th century comedy group consisting of four brothers who went by the names Chico, Harpo, Groucho, and Zeppo Marx. A fifth brother, Gummo, was part of the group prior to their rise to fame in motion pictures.
A week before Benny Russell and his classmates visited the 1939 New York World's Fair in 1940, the Marx Brothers had performed at the fair's main pavilion, as had Abbott and Costello. (DS9 novelization: Far Beyond the Stars)
The Marx Brothers' films survived into the 24th century. Tom Paris enjoyed these films, and screened them for the rest of the USS Voyager crew.
