Maurice Hurley was a medical doctor in the late 23rd century.

Biography[]

Hurley served on the research team of Susan Nuress, investigating an outbreak of plasma plague in the northern continent of Oby VI in the years 2294 and 2295. To counter the outbreak, Doctor Nuress and her team developed a mutated strain which grew more rapidly when exposed to Eichner radiation. The research developed by her team was listed in an etiological report and was still viable in 2365. (TNG episode: "The Child")
