The Megasoids are an alien civilization native to the planet Cygnus IV, a homeworld located in the Cygnus star system in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant.
It has been noted that the Megasoids have a natural predilection towards killing other lifeforms, and that the act is done out of instinct, for pleasure. (ST - Who's Who in Star Trek comic: "Issue 1")
- By the description and differing spelling of the name, we can see that the Megasoids are most likely not the same species as the more peaceful Megazoids.
