A mek'leth was a hand-held, bladed Klingon mêlée weapon. (DS9 episodes: "The Way of the Warrior", "Sons of Mogh")

The mek'leth is approximately half the size of a bat'leth. They are commonly made from baakonite and dikeiferate. (DS9 reference: Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual)
