Deletion rationale

I propose to merge the content of the article "USS Glenn (24th century)" with USS John Glenn". (1) A ship active in the late 23rd century can still be active in the mid-24th. (2) The 24th cent Glenn is a training vessel and has been refitted, and therefore my be an older ship. (3) As a bonus, we could identify the John Glenn-type ship from the SOTL 2011 calendar with the Meteor<-class from "Capture the Flag". Kind regards, -- Markonian 12:39, April 18, 2020 (UTC)

Discussion

There's certainly precedent for this on the wiki. Having researched the vessel for Memory Omega, there's certainly nothing precluding it being the same ship. All that is revealed in Capture the Flag is at has at least three decks, crew quarters, a transporter room and a recreation room. -- The Doctor (talk) 13:00, April 18, 2020 (UTC)

That's a great point, thanks The doctor. We could of course use due diligence with a background note about how the association has been made for the purposes of the wiki to make sure the two sources are clarified to be separate -- captainmike Wiki-wordmarkX 22:28, April 18, 2020 (UTC)
