For other uses, see Meng.

Meng was a 23rd century Klingon man, a soldier who served in the Imperial Klingon Defense Force.

Biography[]

In 2266, Meng was assigned to a secret Klingon outpost on the planet Seggor which developed the granulator metaweapon.

When Chief Engineer Montgomery Scott of the starship USS Enterprise sneaked into the installation, Meng was the first to spot him. Before Meng could bring his disruptor rifle to bear, however, Scott kicked him unconscious.

After Scott sabotaged the granuator and retraced his steps to exit the station, Meng was waking up, and Scott punched him. But the altercation drew attention, and Scott hastily exited before more guards could catch him.

The base blew up shortly afterward, in a blast that destroyed a dozen square miles of surrounding territory. This most likely killed everyone in the facility, including Meng. (TOS comic: "The Klingon Ultimatum")
