Mentain the Strong was an Orion man of the late 23rd century.
He held the position of Overlord of the Orion Colony of Spike. He continued to enforce the planet's closed-world policy, under which the Spikans asked a Federation contact team and Starfleet armada to leave, and refused armed vessels in the Spikal system.
