Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Meramar was a class M planet located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, in or near the 23rd century borders of Federation space.

History and specifics[]

In the distant past, the Preservers moved a group of Humans from Hispania on Earth to Meramar. The society then developed a warlike, feudal system which remained in place into the 24th century. The natives were also known to worship Servado, who they believed saved them from Hispania. (TNG novel: The Captains' Honor)

It was not alluded to whether this was a Federation world, or if it was a planet outside of Federation space.
