For other uses, see Meridian.

Meridian (or Trialus Prime) was a planet located in the space of the galaxy's Gamma Quadrant, in orbit of the Trialus star system, the homeworld of the Meridians. The Trialus system's star created a buildup of quantum energy that periodically shifted Meridian between two dimensions every sixty years. The Meridians spent part of it in a physical existence and the other as incorporeal energy. They marked the passing event with food, with the "First Meal" and "Last Meal" celebrations. (DS9 episode: "Meridian", ST reference: Celebrations)

Q once commented that he would like to have stranded William Riker on Meridian. (ST reference: Q's Guide to the Continuum)

Jonathan Frakes directed "Meridian".
