"Meridian" is an episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The episode was directed by Jonathan Frakes and first aired in November 1994 as part of the third season.
Jadzia falls in love with an inhabitant of a planet who will only be in a physical form for a few days. On Deep Space 9, Quark tries to create a very special holosuite program for a client.
Summary[]
Exploring in the Gamma Quadrant, the crew of the Defiant discover a planet that only appears every seventy years. Jadzia works with a Meridian called Deral to find the cause and a solution to the problem and the two fall in love. The attempt fails and Jadzia, who elected to stay behind, is rescued at the last moment.
On Deep Space 9, Quark attempts to create a hologram of Kira fir his client Tiron, but Kira gets her revenge by modifying the program to put Quark’s head on her body.
