Merik was a star with an associated star system, located in the space of the galaxy's Gamma Quadrant near the vicinity of the Bajoran wormhole's Idran system terminus.

History and specifics[]

Merik was a single star, a G type yellow star located close to the Bopak system. (DS9 episode: "Hippocratic Oath"; ST reference: Star Charts)
