Meshta gagh was a type of food cultivated and enjoyed by those of the Klingon civilization.
History and specifics[]
Meshta was a variety of gagh — live serpent worms — one of the sorts that distinctively manages to jump around prior to and during ingestion.
Inheriting memories of her previous hosts' experiences with Klingon food, Ezri Dax was nauseated at the thought of meshta gagh. She discussed her dislike for the many gagh variations when she received a shipment Jadzia Dax had ordered in 2374, and was looking into how to dispose of the unwanted worms. (DS9 episode: "Prodigal Daughter")
