Michael Bickley was a male Human Starfleet ensign in the 24th century who was assigned to the starship USS Enterprise-D in 2364.

Biography[]

In 2364, Bickley along with his wife Patricia were assigned to the Enterprise-D's Con and Op unit B. During that time, they argued on the bridge during first contact with the Theluvians. (TNG comic: "... Where No One Has Gone Before!")

Michael and Patricia attended the Enterprise Christmas party, only pausing their arguing to kiss underneath the mistletoe. (TNG comic: "Spirit in the Sky!")

Michael and Patricia took their positions on the bridge when Captain Jean-Luc Picard ordered a saucer separation during a confrontation with Reglech's starship. Their arguing was only interrupted when Commander William T. Riker relieved Michael of duty and replaced him with Wesley Crusher. (TNG comics: "Q Factor", "Q's Day")

Background information[]

Editor Robert Greenberger stated in the letters column of TNG comic: "Q's Day" that "The Bickleys are of a race not yet revealed in the stories. Just as Worf modifies his uniform to represent his Klingon heritage, the Bickleys wear the capes as part of their culture."
