For other uses, see Traveler.

The Mikhal Travelers were a nomadic humanoid species that lived in the Delta Quadrant. They had no real governing structure and traveled around in small, high warp capable vessels that carried only a pilot and a navigator. They also maintained small outposts that functioned as supply depots.

In 2373, USS Voyager encountered the Mikhal when they stopped at one of the Mikhal's supply depots to gather information. (VOY episode: "Darkling")

The Travelers warned Captain Kathryn Janeway to avoid the territory of the Tarkans, an extremely hostile race. They did not, however, make any mention of the Tenebrous Cluster they encountered while traveling around Tarkan space. (VOY - Strange New Worlds I short story: "Monthuglu")

Alternate timeline

In an alternate timeline, Chakotay sarcastically suggested to Captain Janeway that Voyager's crew could stay with the Mikhal instead of the Vostigye. (Star Trek: Myriad Universes novel: Places of Exile)
