The Military Rhetor of the Romulan Star Empire, also known as the Romulan War College, was an institution within the Romulan government.
It was the Romulan counterpart of Starfleet Academy and a prestigious institution that trained the soldiers of the military. Based on the cold harsh world of Devorren, the Romulan War College consisted of a four year course with the first year consisting of students being trained to be fit for serving as warriors. Their final year was not based on Devorren but instead consisted of a tour of duty onboard a starship. Many Romulans sought to have their children admitted into the Military Rhetor was it served as a prestigious role to advancing their careers within the Empire.
