By the 2260s decade, Milton was serving as an astrophysicist aboard the Federation starship USS Tereshkova.
In the year 2265, he was killed during a mission to study a rogue comet inside the Trillius star system. (DS9 - The Lives of Dax short story: "Sins of the Mother")
