Minecci was a Human male in the 24th century. He was a member of Starfleet and served aboard the USS Defiant as a security crewperson.

In January 2377, he was one of several Defiant security personnel who beamed down to Harkoum to capture Taran'atar and return him to Deep Space 9. Minecci was later hit in the leg by Iliana Ghemor's mercenaries, but was dragged to safety by Quin Heins. The pair were aided by the mirror universe's Iliana Ghemor, who fired at the snipers who were targeting them. (DS9 novel: Warpath)
