For the primary universe counterpart, see Ming Xiong.

In the mirror universe, Ming Xiong was a Terran male who served in the Imperial Starfleet of the Terran Empire.

In 2277, Xiong was a lieutenant stationed on Imperial Starbase 47 and responsible for research with the Shedai Wanderer. During his time aboard the starbase, Xiong became worried about what Commodore Diego Reyes would do with the power of the Shedai at his control and told Admiral Spock about what was happening on the starbase. Xiong would then act as Spock's agent on the base and he released the Shedai Wanderer when the station was attacked by the ISS Endeavour. (VAN - Mirror Universe short story: "The Black Flag")
