If one twin should die, it greatly affects the other. They are typically known to be a quarrelsome people.

History and specifics

In 2369, the Miradorn twins Ah-Kel and Ro-Kel visited Deep Space 9 to sell Quark merchandise they had stolen. Croden killed Ro-Kel after attempting to rob them, leaving Ah-Kel with a burning rage. He followed Odo and Croden to the Gamma Quadrant and attempted to destroy their runabout. (DS9 episode: "Vortex")

The Miradorn had signed a nonaggression pact with the Dominion before the war. Weyoun claimed it was because they had seen "the great light of the Founders' wisdom", although Benjamin Sisko believed the Dominion was just using them for its own gains. (DS9 episode & novelization: Call to Arms)

In 2377, the Miradorn, hoping to mend their relations with the United Federation of Planets, asked the crew of the USS da Vinci to help deactivate numerous devices the Dominion had installed on Mirada during the war. (SCE eBook: The Cleanup)
