This character is a member of the Kirk family.

Miramanee was a female Human of Native American descent who lived on the planet Amerind in the 23rd century, and was the priestess of her tribe. She was supposed to marry Salish, and was the daughter of Goro, the chief.

History

In 2268, she fell in love with an amnesiac James T. Kirk, or "Kirok," and she became pregnant with his child. She, along with their unborn child, was stoned to death through the efforts of the jealous Salish. (TOS episode: "The Paradise Syndrome")

In 2269 in an alternate timeline, Spock mind melded with Kirk, who thought of his love for Miramanee, Edith Keeler, Deela, Rayna, Ruth, and the USS Enterprise. (TOS novel: Killing Time)

In 2270, Kirk denied to Omne that he’d ever cried as an act of defiance. Kirk considered his grief for Miramanee and Keeler to be far beyond the pain of crying. (TOS novel: The Price of the Phoenix)

In 2273, Leonard McCoy thought that Kirk’s grief over the death of ex-wife Lori Ciana affected him less than the deaths of Miramanee and Keeler. (TOS novel: Ex Machina)

In 2285, Kirk was reminded of Miramanee and her unborn child when Zar related how he’d married Araen only to see her die less than 10 months later. (TOS novel: Time For Yesterday)

In 2293, Kirk’s wife Teilani’s tales of Chal and her touching him by a wood fire reminded Kirk of Miramanee. (TOS novel: The Ashes of Eden)
