Missile cruiser was a starship classification used by both the Federation and the Romulan Star Empire in the Kelvin timeline. Missile cruisers were characterised by their use of long range and powerful charged projectile weapons. Starfleet's Arbiter-class and the Romulan's Securis-class were designated missile cruisers.
