Muhammad ibn 'Abdullāh, or Mohammed, was a human of Earth, born about 570 CE. He was the founder of the religion of Islam. He was regarded by Muslims as a prophet of God, the greatest law-bearer in a series of Islamic prophets and by most Muslims the last prophet as taught by the Qur'an.

He founded Islam some time after the year 600 CE.

The library computers on board the USS Enterprise listed Mohammed, along with Stur and Nerid, as an analogous example when describing Chag Gara. (TOS novel: Spock, Messiah!)
