Mokata'klan was a Jem'Hadar First serving in the Gamma Quadrant in the year 2354. The Vorta in command of this unit was Eris. In that year, Taran'atar was grown in a Jem'Hadar hatchery and named by Mokata'klan who then lead him into his first battle. As of 2377, Mokata'klan had been long since dead. (DS9 novel: Warpath)

Alternate Versions[]

In 2377, Taran'atar hijacked the runabout Euphrates from Deep Space 9 and due to the effects of brainwashing and the massive amount of stimulants in his system, he began to have hallucinations. In one of them, Mokata'klan physically beats Taran'atar to his knees and tells him that he is no longer a Jem'Hadar since he has defied the will of a Founder. (DS9 novel: Warpath)
