For other uses, see Mol.

Mol was a 23rd century city on the planet Morkol.

History and specifics[]

In the 2260s, Mol and other cities including the Morkolian capital were overrun and occupied by military forces from the Klingon Empire.

In 2267, a resistance movement on Morkol launched a misinformation campaign intended to confuse the puppet government. Fake news broadcasts on television announced attacks by Tharkian spacecraft on Mol and three other cities. The strategy worked, leading to the ousting of the government and withdrawal of Klingon forces. (TOS comic: "Spheres of War")
