The Monaveen class, also known as Hysperian intel battlecruiser was a 24th and 25th century Hysperian starship type, a tier 6-rated intel battlecruiser class in Hysperian Royal Navy service in the 2380s and 2410s decades. (STO website: Unraveled: Journey with the Hysperian Intel Battlecruiser!)

History and specifications

The HRN Monaveen served as the flagship and conveyance of choice for the Hysperian royal family. The Khitomer Alliance deployed this class as battlecruisers with intel starship facilities, essentially a combat ship benefitting from intelligence officer skills. In the year 2381, the Monaveen rendezvoused with the Federation starship USS Cerritos. Queen Paolana sought to confer the monarchy unto her son, Andy Billups. The Federation classed the Hysperians as a Ren faire type civilization. Lieutenant Commander Billups escaped his mother's machinations and remained in Starfleet. In 2411, this class was commercially available on behalf of the Risian Hospitality Association. At one point, the Monaveen floated above the sea around the Summer Resort island during the annual Lohlunat festival. (STO - Unraveled mission: "FLying High")
