Monroe was a 24th century Human woman, a Starfleet officer trained as a flight controller. By the 2360s decade, she had attained the rank of lieutenant junior grade and served aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise-D.
Biography[]
When the Enterprise was hit by a quantum filament in the year 2368, Monroe was at the conn position and was in command of the bridge. She attempted to control the vessel's flight as the effect disabled the ship, but was killed when a charge of energy caused her station to overload and explode, burning her and riddling her body with shrapnel. (TNG episode: "Disaster")
