Moore was a 23rd century Human man, an operative of Section 31 who worked for them in the 2270s decade.
Biography[]
In the year 2270, Section 31 sent Moore and an associate to the Federation Council Chambers during a visit by the world-ship Archernar IV's High Administrator. The Administrator's son hired them to assassinate his father for political reasons. Moore played along for several days, but as soon as he had his hands on valuable intelligence data about Archernar, he abruptly killed the son and his bodyguard, making it look like a duel gone bad. He then turned on his associate as well, killing him with a phaser.
About six months later, Moore joined the crew of the USS Enterprise as a relief helmsman in order to discover the coordinates of Archernar. He was on duty at the helm when the Enterprise arrived at the world-ship. After its Omega-weapon was fired, Moore retreated the starship at full impulse a few million kilometers to avoid being targeted. (TOS - Mission's End comic: "Issue 2")
Moore also had ties to the Orion Syndicate. As soon as he could get off the bridge, he used an Orion subspace transceiver to transmit Archernar's location to Marikk Botar of the Syndicate. Unfortunately for Moore, Nyota Uhura detected his transmission, and he was soon apprehended and placed in the brig. (TOS - Mission's End comic: "Issue 3")
An hour later, a fleet of Orion interceptors surrounded the Enterprise and demanded Moore's release. Montgomery Scott asked Moore why the Orions would want him freed. He admitted that he knew sensitive information that would be released upon his death. (TOS - Mission's End comic: "Issue 4")
After Archernar IV departed to a different dimension and Enterprise returned to Earth, Moore was taken off the ship into custody. (TOS - Mission's End comic: "Issue 5")
- Despite a lack of rank stripes on his tunic, his rank was cited in dialogue.
