Summary[]

Marissa Flores contacts Captain Picard from the Starfleet vessel on which she now lives with her father. The ship has become trapped in a temporal anomaly and Marissa is the only person on board who is immune from its effects. During the course of their correspondence, Marissa reveals a secret shame from her past.
