Moru was a female Bajoran who lived in the 24th century. In 2370, at the rank of Lieutenant, Moru was assigned to Deep Space 9 as a security officer, Odo's second in command.
In 2370, when a group of infant Horta ran amok on the Promenade, Moru escorted Keiko O'Brien and Molly O'Brien out of the schoolroom. Benjamin Sisko later ordered Moru and her team to protect the fusion reactors from the Horta. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
Alternate timeline[]
In an alternate timeline, Moru led the Deep Space 9 security officers against the invading Bekkir in 2370. Moru was killed in the skirmish. (DS9 novel: Fallen Heroes)
