Moxat was a Saurian female who was alive in the 22nd century.

History[]

By 2163, Moxat was the Presider of the Global League. In that year, she represented the League during trade negotiations with the United Federation of Planets. (ENT - Rise of the Federation novel: A Choice of Futures)

In 2164, during the plague on Sauria, Doctor Jeremy Lucas provided evidence to Moxat that the disease was spread by M'Tezir dictator Maltuvis and that the medicine he was providing in exchange for submitting to M'Tezir rule was watered down, but Lucas and his team of Federation doctors were able to produce a full cure. Moxat decided that in the long term, it would be best to present the cure as a Saurian breakthrough to avoid a xenophobic reaction to it, and promised Lucas that the League will maintain its trade agreement with the Federation as long as she has a say in the matter. (ENT - Rise of the Federation novel: Tower of Babel)
