Multi-vector assault mode was a capability of the Prometheus-class starship that allowed the vessel to divide into three sections, each with its own warp core and warp drive capability, able to conduct piloted or remote-controlled movement and attack activities. (VOY episode: "Message in a Bottle")

Dual vector separation was a variation used by the Romulan Haakona-class warbird. (STO video game: Legacy of Romulus)

The IKV Hakkarl used a similar system. (TOS novel: Rules of Engagement)

Numerous Federation Escort classes used multi-vector assault mode.

The USS Phoenix (timeship) used multi-vector assault mode.
