Muni, or 'blends', was in the Orion language the term for Orions of colours different from those of the Green Orions, the Ruddy Orions and the Grey Orions.

Muni made up a small minority of the Orion population, perhaps around 1-3%, usually found in large Orion communities. They were comprised of rare Orion subraces with non-green, non-yellow/orange, non-grey skin colourations, as well as alien races absorbed into Orion culture and lone immigrants. (FASA RPG modules: The Orions: Book of Common Knowledge, The Orions: Book of Deep Knowledge) These absorbed alien races might include the Etoshans and Duthulhiv (TOS novel: The Romulan Way, TOS novel: Spock's World), a grey-skinned reptilian variety (TNG novel: Survivors) and a slimy purple variety. (TOS novel: Wagon Train to the Stars)

Unlike Grey Orions and halfbreeds, and though small in number, muni were a visible and accepted component of Orion society. (FASA RPG modules: The Orions: Book of Common Knowledge, The Orions: Book of Deep Knowledge)
