The Murakami system was a star system located on the Federation side of the Romulan Neutral Zone in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.

History and specifics[]

The Murakami system's orbit was the location of a number of planets, including ninth planet Murakami IX.

In the year 2277, after being disabled and left without warp engine power in the Neutral Zone, the starship USS Enterprise traveled to the Murakami system on impulse power. (TOS comic: "Taking Shape")
