Party music

Edoan playing music for a large party.

Music was an aural art form, involving the arrangement of sounds of differing pitch and tone in a variety of combinations. Music played an important role in the cultures of many races, including Humans, Klingons, Vulcans, and Bajorans-therefore called "folk" music. Musically scored notes often lead to the composition of songwriting, so that lyrics may accompany the auditory patterns. (TOS episode: "The Way to Eden", TOS movie: Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, TNG episode: "Sarek", DS9 episode: "Melora", VOY episode: "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy")
