The Myshog were an alien race in the Gamma Quadrant.
Prior to 2377, the Ascendants attacked and eradicated the Myshog race, due to the Ascendant belief that the Myshog's worship of gods other than the Ascendants' own made them heretics. (DS9 novel: Sacraments of Fire)
