Shuttlepod 01 was a Federation type-15 shuttlecraft, a shuttlepod vehicle in service to Starfleet in the late 24th century. In the 2360s, Shuttlepod 01 was assigned to the USS Enterprise.
History[]
Shuttlepod 01 was stowed in the main shuttlebay of the Enterprise-D in the year 2365, and was present when Data confronted three Vortek who were hiding in the bay. (TNG comic: "Lifesigns")
In 2367, Shuttlepod 01 was used by Data to retrieve Jean-Luc Picard, who had been transported to Ventax II by Ardra. The shuttlepod was unable to immediately return to the Enterprise, as Ardra had cloaked the starship. (TNG episode: "Devil's Due")
