The NCC-1701-E was a 24th century Federation auxiliary vessel, a Type-11 shuttlecraft in Starfleet service in the 2370s decade. This vessel was assigned to the Sovereign-class battleship USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-E), with whom it shared its registry number NCC-1701-E. (Shuttle Collection Issue 10: "Shuttlecraft Type-11")
Service history[]

This shuttle was in service by the 2370s. In 2375, Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Lieutenant Commander Worf boarded the NCC-1701-E to intercept Lieutenant Commander Data on the Ba'ku, who had gone rogue. Their Type-11 shuttle pursued Data's USS Talon scout and managed to dock with the Venture-class vessel after Picard distracted Data with a song, allowing Worf to board the Talon and deactivate Data. In 2375, the NCC-1701-E and other Type-11 shuttles became the principal embarked craft of both the Enterprise-E in particular and Sovereign-class starships in general. (Shuttle Collection Issue 10: "Shuttlecraft Type-11")
