NCC-1701/12 was a Federation armored lander shuttlecraft in service to Starfleet in the 23rd century. The shuttle was assigned to starship USS Enterprise.

The shuttlecraft had no given name visible.

History and specifications[]

In the year 2270, Harry Mudd stole this shuttlecraft, taking Nurse Christine Chapel with him as a hostage. He landed on a planet inhabited by rock creatures, intending to leave Chapel there so he could escape, but one of the rock creatures destroyed the shuttle. (TAS episode: "Mudd's Passion")

This shuttlecraft was replaced by the Copernicus, which had the same registry.
