The NCC-502 was a 23rd century Federation Antares-class starship. This vessel was in Starfleet service until it was abandoned sometime before the 2280s.
Service history and disposition[]
In the early 2380s, the NCC-502 and its cargo was discovered by a Drookmani vessel. Its captain was unhappy when Captain Carol Freeman, of the USS Cerritos, informed him that he could only be offered a finder's reward. The Drookmani reversed their tractor beam to launch the ship's cargo and hull at the Cerritos. The secondary hull of the NCC-502 was launched at the primary hull of the Cerritos, and broke apart.
