The NX-2000/E7 was a Federation shuttlecraft in service to Starfleet in the late 23rd century. Of an unnamed class, it was assigned to the USS Excelsior in the 2280s decade.
Service history and disposition[]
In the year 2285, E7 was launched to conduct a survey mission of an unnamed planet. Piloted by Jed and led by Commander Thimon, its crew also included William Bearclaw, Bodine, and Konom. Unfortunately, ion radiation disrupted the shuttle's navigation systems. Thimon took the helm and was able to land the shuttle with only minimal damage. (TOS comic: "The Trouble With Bearclaw")
