The Nandi-class warship was a Ferengi starship type in service in the early 25th century. The warship was launched during the Iconian War and made available to the Alpha Quadrant Alliance through a Risian resort. (STO video game: The Iconian War)[1]

History[]

In mid-2410, the Lobi Crystal Consortium representative Zelek first presented the Nandi-class warship to a pair of hotel owners on Risa. Prior, the Risians had developed ships of their own to offer to their Starfleet, KDF and Romulan Republican Force. Quark, owner of the Consortium, had dispatched Zelek to present the gold-coated bridge in a holoprogram to the Risian Hedony. Although resources were scarce due to the war with the Iconians, the Consortium had stockpiled building materials.

The Nandi-class warship's hull was gold-coated and made to imitate latinum. (STO video game: The Iconian War)[2]

Following the first contact between the Lukari Concordium and the Alliance[3], Madran travelled on his Nandi-class warship to Lukari for a negotiations with Captain Kuumaarke. Kuurmaarke resisted Madran's pressuring tactics, and Madran's ship left after the Alliance arrived to lend support. When the Lukari and their Alliance escort rediscovered the long-lost Deep Space Station K-13 in the orbit of 20 Draconis III, Madran claimed the space station for himself. The Allies defeated Madran's mercenaries on the station, prompting Madran's warship to lead a Nausicaan flotilla against them. Madran retreated when his warship was damaged, as the cost of repair outweighed the latinum value of disposing his Alliance opponents. (STO - New Frontiers mission: "Echoes of Light")

Class variations[]

Four basic livery designs were available to choose from for owners, which could be modified further. The three options were were designated Type 1-4. They were differentiated by slight red shading. (STO - The Iconian War mission: "Flying High") In addition, the installation of shields from specific factions modified the hull appearance, including shields from the Reman Resistance, the Breen Confederacy and the Dominion. (STO - Romulan Mystery missions: "Coliseum", "Cold Storage", "Boldly They Rode")
