Naomi Darrow was a female Human Starfleet officer in the 24th century. As of early 2381, she held the rank of Lieutenant, and served in the security division aboard the USS Aventine.
In 2381, Darrow was an away team security supervisor investigating the wreck site of the Columbia. She was the first to discover the bodies of Yott and Komer, but sworn to keep the deaths secret until more information could be gathered. (ST - Destiny novel: Gods of Night)
Shortly after, the Borg Invasion of 2381 begun, and Darrow was part of a strike team under Lonnoc Kedair assigned to board and capture a Borg scout in order to secure the vinculum. The team came under attack by Borg drones, and Darrow and Englehorn alternated fire with Lonnoc and T'Prel to fight them back and take the craft. (ST - Destiny novel: Lost Souls)
