Nara was a Canopian Starfleet officer who served as an engineer in the late 24th century.
Early life and career[]
The daughter of Rana and Phacops, Nara was born on Canopus Planet in 2340. She later went on to enter Starfleet Academy and in late 2358, graduated in the 91st percentile. Following her graduation she was assigned to the USS Galaxy's engineering department as a specialist with EPS conduit maintenance.
Nara was later promoted to lieutenant, junior grade in 2367 after improving the efficiency of the Galaxy's EPS conduits by 15%. Following her promotion, she was assigned to the USS Enterprise-D, under the supervision of Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge. (ST video game: Starship Creator)
Aboard the Enterprise[]
By 2370, Nara was the nacelle control room supervisor aboard the Enterprise.
In 2370, Nara was interviewed by Commander William T. Riker and Deanna Troi after Lieutenant Daniel Kwan, an officer who worked under her, had committed suicide. (TNG episode: "Eye of the Beholder")
