Nehru Colony was a Human Federation colony during the 24th century. It was named after Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India from 1947 to 1964.

History and specifics[]

In 2364, the colony contained at least two cities, Motilal and Indira, and was the home of the Chandra Detective Agency. Marion and Megumi Dulmur lived on Nehru Colony for a time. (DTI novel: Watching the Clock)

In 2369, Jadzia Dax had the main computer of Deep Space 9 open a subspace link to Nehru colony to stop the "Pup" entity from resisting their attempts to return it to the probe it came from. (DS9 episode: "The Forsaken")
